ORGANIZATION......

I just love to organize and I have to say it is a bit of an obession of mine.  This year I decided to get the Christmas decorations fully organized and into line.  For me this often involves the use of plastic containers and these very large flip top bins were perfect.  This is the first layer of my Santa box, to me it is a thing of beauty!

Second layer of Santa Box with everything in its place!

Third and final Santa box layer.  Now that is not the end of it for me I then took all of these photographs and printed them off into a word document and placed the printed document in the top of the box.  This means next year I can duplicate how I packed them, not bad!!!

I am going to do this with all of my decorations this year just call me Martha Stewart.  Happy packing to all of you slowly taking down your holiday decorations......

HAPPY TO SHARE......

I just wanted to take a moment to share with you this lovely Santa spun cotton ornament that was made by a lady called Pat.

Pat purchased from me two of my spun cotton tutorials and has gone on to create some wonderful holiday ornaments. I cannot thank Pat enough for all of the encouraging comments that she has sent to me and also the wonderful photographs of her creations.
I hope that Pat continues to enjoy this fulfilling craft, thank you again for sharing!

HOW TO MAKE A SPUN COTTON ORNAMENT......

I think it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, cool air and days that are getting shorter.  Just in time for the holiday season are these detailed instructions on how to make a spun cotton Santa figure.  What could be a nicer way to start the holiday season off than making your own special Christmas decoration and not something massed produced from China.

Enjoy creating many different Santa's from this great tutorial and have fun changing the faces, colors and trims.

Have a great holiday and Christmas season and enjoy!
