BEAUTIFUL GIFT FROM A WONDERFUL LADY......

I have been so blessed since I began this blog and I have had the pleasure of getting to know some wonderful artists and bloggers.  This time I was lucky enough to get to know the wonderful PAT WINTER a very taltented crazy quilter!

The stunning bag that you see in these photographs arrived at my home on Saturday as a gift from Pat.  How can I possibly put into words how beautiful her gift to me is and how much I appreciate it.  The bag is so exquisite and full of beautiful details.  I have tried to show some of them with the following photo's......

The photographs do not do justice to this bag and how much more beautiful it is in person.  I have now been blessed twice from my new blogging friends and I am in awe of their  generosity.  PAT WINTERS and CELESTINA MARIE are truly generous of heart and spirit!

This beautiful bag is now on pround display in my home, it is  like a piece of art.  I hope to use it when I go out to somewhere very special.

Thank you so much Pat for your wonderful gift to me, I will treasure it always and remember your generous heart!

A GIFT FROM THE HEART......



Today I received a wonderful gift from a new friend that I met through blogging.  Sometimes life has it's ups and sometimes it's downs.  Today is truly an up for me!




CELESTINA of CELESTINA MARIE DESIGNS sent to me as a gift this beautiful painted vintage teaspoon.  The detail has to be seen to be believed, there is a sweet little birds nest nestled in the curve of the spoon with three little eggs waiting for mommy bird to come home.  The best pale pink shabby chic roses have also been delicately painted onto this fabulous spoon!

You can see from my collection that I am a tradionalist at heart.  For me the shades of red and green evoke the feeling of childhood and family.
