HOW TO MAKE A SPUN COTTON ORNAMENT......
I think it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, cool air and days that are getting shorter. Just in time for the holiday season are these detailed instructions on how to make a spun cotton Santa figure. What could be a nicer way to start the holiday season off than making your own special Christmas decoration and not something massed produced from China.
Enjoy creating many different Santa's from this great tutorial and have fun changing the faces, colors and trims.
Have a great holiday and Christmas season and enjoy!

SPUN COTTON DOLL......
This sweet vintage inspired mixed media spun cotton doll was such a joy to create. I have been making spun cotton figures for two or three years now and have really enjoyed the process of coming up with an easy way and strong way to make them.
Once you have created your own pretty spun cotton doll you can customize the face with members of your family, a dear daughter, sister or niece. The choice is yours!
I have included in this detailed tutorial lots of clear and precise photographs to make the process easier. Clear written instructions are also included plus templates and faces for the dolls in case you do not want to customize them. Enjoy!
The instructions are now available at my Etsy store which www.yourcraftbook.etsy.com
