RETRO REVIVAL......

Everything retro seems to be the thing at the moment.  From the fifties onwards all is new again.  These images capture the charm of the 1950s Pin Up, wonderful to look at, impossible to attain, though many tried. my mother included!

The Barbie doll was invented in the late fifties and you can certainly see the iconic Barbie in these wonderful vintage female forms.

Sex appeal had a certain naive charm unlike today!

The 1950s Pin Up Girl!

Happily found on calenders all around the country in the early fifties.  Enjoy my homage to this wonderful era!

You can purchase these images HERE at my Etsy store YOUR CRAFT BOOK.

WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS

Dreams and aspirations, we all have them and like so many of our dreams they get locked away for another day.

Well my dream and aspiration is become a craft book writer, when I first had the idea five years ago it was very much a dream in the distant future.  I had always my whole life created and crafted things from an early dolls house to little people made with the old clothes pegs.  For my sister and I there was nothing better than getting our hands covered in paint and glue.

For me the craft book tutorials that you will find on this blog are that dream.  Will they sell? will people want to make my creations? Only time will.
